Scope of Work
This project encompassed the installation of the EST 3 panel system with TYCO/ADT conductors and associated cabling in 36 above ground metro stations throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area. This project included intrusion detection and access control systems installation and integration. We provided teams to perform on 4 stations concurrently. ORION coordinated directly with WMATA.
ORION was responsible for all site surveys, field project management, and the development of preliminary as-built drawings. Our team was able to perform with no break in service to include safety, revenue and maintenance.

JGB Fire Alarm Upgrade - Washington, DC
Scope of Work
This project encompassed the installation of the EST 3 panel system with TYCO/ADT conductors and associated cabling in the Jackson Graham Building (headquarters for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority). ORION provided a crew of six to complete this retro-fit project in less time than the allocated period of performance. Our project manager coordinated directly with WMATA due to the sensitivity and importance of this project. During this retro-fit the building was on fire watch. ORION was responsible for all site surveys and field project management.

AFCEA Fire Alarm Upgrade
Scope of Work
This project encompassed the installation of the TYCO/ADT Fire Alarm product into a three story AFCEA building in Northern Virginia. The ORION staff completed an extensive retro-fit of the fire alarm system including reprogramming the existing panel. The ORION project lead coordinated directly with AFCEA personnel, and local government authorities for test, inspect and commissioning. Our crew completed this project well within the period of performance and the system was 100% operational upon completion.
