Project Name and Location
2004 Presidential Inauguration
Scope of Work
ORION was responsible for installing a wireless CCTV system along the Presidential parade route that met 106 compliance as it pertains to historical buildings. Even though this system was meant to be a temporary solution, the system is still in place and operational to this day due to the high quality of our work.
ORION also retrofitted several secret service vehicles to provide them with mobile command capabilities. All ORION employees had to have an active Top Secret clearance. A variety of vehicles were retrofitted and our technicians had to assess the power required in order to work within the power restrictions of the vehicle's battery. The equipment included camera systems on the vehicles, laptops and servers in the vehicles, and antennae on and in the vehicles.
